With the shares controlled or held by the Institute of Processes, Chinese Academy of Sciences and its team of researchers, Beijing Cycle Columbus Environmental Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech company dedicated to whole process pollution control and re-utilization of wastes generated from non-ferrous metals, steel and coal chemical industries.

Starting from an introduction of the technologies for treating ternary waste water in the industry, the exchange focused on the characteristics of vanadium oxide waste water containing high ammonia and nitrogen, high salt and high heavy metal. Major prevailing treatment methods were compared from environmental, technical and economical perspectives.

This exchange helps to throw light on treatment of Pangang’s vanadium oxide waste water in a green, efficient and valuable way. It not only contributes to sustainable development of Pangang’s vanadium industry, but also lays a solid foundation for further cooperation.
